about

A real transformation. Thousands arriving by train for the Commonwealth Games would see a gleaming new station – only local people know just how much the station has been transformed.

As we walk, Peter Ross reads an extract from one of the stories in his book, Daunderlust. The Fishermen of Dalmarnock, which he wrote after spending a day with the men who fish nearby, is a testament to skill, experience, patience and common sense. The fishermen know better than to eat the catch from this stretch of the river. So they throw it back.
